Faras al Adham in Arabia means a Black horse which is symbol of masculinity and Asgharali faras al Adham captures that musicality very well with this perfume.

This starts off with a dose of bergamot and spice (Coriander) and it gives a feeling of fougere perfumery and it’s not very loud at this moment and it stays like this for first 15 minutes and then you start getting whiffs of amber coming along with spices. In a way, it is giving me hint of Blue de Chanel at this moment not truly a similar feeling but you can say if blue de Chanel had an oriental brother then this is how it will smell like right now. As it moves an hour into development you smell bit of floral notes coming which makes it more smoother and I think it has hint of vanilla and combination is making it smooth and classy smell. As this perfume moves towards dry down you see sandalwood joining in and sandalwood is one my favoured notes if done correctly and in this composition, it is done very well. This last for close to 6-8 hours on my skin and it is not projection beast however makes you notice. It is a very much office approved and quite versatile as I think this can be worn pretty much all year around specially in Indian subcontinent where winters are not as severe as they are in Canada or Europe.

This is one of the rare oud less oriental perfumes I have tried and it clear to me when they composed this they kept mases in picture and they could execute that idea very well and if you can get this for below 100$ then I will recommend you to go ahead and give it a try. As I have stated it is not a projection beast however it sits quite close to you however it will get you compliments and you can easily wear to office and it can be signature scent for lot of folks. This is one of the first Asgharali perfume I have tried and i plan on exploring this house further as I see potential with offering like it this and with good quality ingredients.
